Stolen from [info]paiseley:
"Comment anonymously and tell me anything you've wanted to tell me. At all. Ever. Now's your chance.  The good, the bad & the ugly. Let it all hang out.

And I'm not creepy and I don't check IPs. I don't even know how to turn IPlogging off."

All the above applies here as well. Aaaand...go!

It works now, I think. :P

The five colors blind our eyes.

The five tones deafen our ears.

The five flavors confuse our taste.

Racing and hunting madden our minds.

Possessing rare treasures brings about harmful behavior.

Therefore the sage regards his center, and not his eyes.

He lets go of that and chooses this.

What are your top ten favorite songs? What is number...let's say, eight...on that list? Maybe it's "Cinnamon Girl."

If you grew up in the 80s, you knew people who said "LET'S PLAY TRIVIAL PURSUITS, BUT I DON'T WANT TO PLAY GENIUS EDITION!" And then they wanted to change the rules so that every right answer earns a pie piece. And they only wanted to answer entertainment questions, and then tried guessing "Carol Channing" way too often.

I will be starting my insult cakes blog soon.

You!
Go work on an organic farm! You get free room and board, and in some cases, transportation. Cool, huh? If I wasn't so wretchedly lazy and disdainful of manual labor, I'd totally...well, no, my family would rebel. Let's say in this alternate universe, where yo soy muy trabajadora, I also don't have kids or a husband. Wait! I don't like this universe! Where are my kids?!?! Where is Simon?? SHOW'S OVER, SYNERGY!

Hey, do you want a tarot reading? Sure you do, probably! Or maybe you know someone who does! Well, for a limited time (read: until I get too busy), I'm doing them via email (or IM, if you'd like) for $5 a pop, payable via PayPal.

Hey, do you like books? Well, of COURSE you do!

How about swapping used books with other people?

I just requested a book called I, Elizabeth, by Rosalind Miles. It looked sort of interesting; I thought I'd give it a go. The cool thing is, you can relist books you've gotten from PBS. So far, I'm not so sure how great the selection is, but it's worth a try!

Tomorrow, I'm going to call the library and see if they can get The Motorcycle Diaries by Che Guevara and another Rosalind Miles book - this one non-fiction, called Who Cooked the Last Supper? The Women's History of the World.

In other news, I'm going to apply to UNI and ISU. I'd rather go to UofI or UofM, but I don't think I could realistically attend the latter two.
